Actuators
Actuators are necessary devices used to convert energy, frequently hydraulic, air or electrical, into motion. Actuators are frequently used in robotics, assembly lines, manufacturing, handling and other automation applications. Sometimes referred to as the “muscles” of a robot, actuators can be linear, moving in a straight line typically back and forth, or rotary moving in angular degrees along a circular pattern.
